Setanta Sports offers live and exclusive coverage of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League. Subscribers to the subscription channel, available on satellite and cable, are guaranteed a top quality product fronted by some of the biggest names in sport broadcasting. Setanta Sports offers in-depth coverage of Scottish football's top flight by broadcasting 60 live games each season under a new contract struck until 2009/10.

The channel, anchored by Rob Maclean and produced under the guidance of Colin Davidson, also offers extended highlights from all other SPL matches, behind the scenes interviews and expert analysis from Ian Crocker, Craig Burley, Scott Booth and Jock Brown.

Highlights

Scottish Television agreed a four year deal in 2004 which will see STV and Grampian TV broadcast the highlights from one featured match every week and the best of the rest of the weekend's action each Monday, usually at 11pm.

Andy Walker and Grant Stott front the action-packed Scotsport SPL programme, with commentary from the legendary Archie MacPherson and insight from other guests including John Colquhoun.

In July 2007, the BBC agreed a non-exclusive highlights deal with the SPL as part of a new contract that also extends their exclusive radio rights for another three years, with a two-year option which would take the partnership through to the end of 2011/12.

The 30-minute Clydesdale Bank Premier League highlights show currently goes out on BBC2 Scotland every Wednesday at 10pm.
